Tribute Giving
What better way to honor a family member, friend or colleague than to make a gift in their name that will improve the lives of the most disadvantaged members of our community – survivors of domestic violence, people with disabilities, unhoused families. You can do this by making a tribute gift to Greater Boston Legal Services.
Specific Tributes
The Brian Flynn Employment Justice Memorial Fund
Brian Flynn (1954-2020) served as the dedicated leader of the Asian Outreach/Employment Law Unit, affectionately known as the “mayor of GBLS.” Contributions to the Brian Flynn Employment Justice Memorial Fund will help to ensure that low-wage workers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are able to fairly access the employment benefits to which they are entitled, and that language access, misclassification of workers as independent contractors, and other barriers do not unduly harm innocent workers.

The Jack Ward Memorial Fund
John B. "Jack" Ward (1946 - 2019) served as a valued and respected member of Greater Boston Legal Services' staff for 31 years, retiring from his role as Director of Finance and Development in 2015. The Jack Ward Memorial Fund was established to celebrate Jack's legacy of increasing knowledge within the field of legal aid and enriching the social fabric of GBLS itself.
